I'm running to support the Heart Research Institute!

Story

Hi there,

I have decided to make a difference by taking part in The Color Run and raising money for charity.

Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and a message of support.

I would also really appreciate it if you could 'Like' and share my page above or comment below so more people know about it.

Click 'Donate Now' to make a secure online donation and help me reach my target. I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make!

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a DGR receipt via email as soon as you make a donation.

Thanks so much for your support!

Heart Research Institute

Did you know that Heart Disease affects 1 in 6 Australians, and 2 out of 3 families and that 1 Australian dies every 12 minutes from heart disease.  Plus more alarmingly 40% of children under the age of 15 years now show early signs of heart disease.

The aim of The Heart Research Institute (HRI) is to provide medical professionals worldwide, with better resources and a better understanding of the Early Detection, Prevention and Treatment of Heart Disease.

With today¹s worldwide epidemic known as the Metabolic Syndrome, where the combined risk factors together increase your chances of developing heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.
It¹s true we eat too much and exercise too little - add in a little stress and Boom!  It's too late !

Risk Factors include:   Overweight and Obesity     Poor Diet     Physical inactivity     High Blood Pressure     High Cholesterol    Low Fruit and Veg intake   and of course Alcohol and Smoking      9 in 10 adults have at least one risk factor, 1 in 4 adults have three or more !

Reduce you and your family's risk of a stroke or heart attack, and help us make
